The fundamental question at the heart of my research is:
Why, when and how do we work?

Some of my papers focus on particular aspects of this research agenda, such as gender inequality or the influence of technological advancements on the workplace. Other papers address the intersection of my interests by examining the ways in which changes to work structure affect work identification and inclusion in the future of work. Methodologically, my work is rooted in full-cycle research, meaning that most of my projects begin with qualitative theory-building and end with quantitative theory testing.
